HOW TO ORDER GENERAL PURPOSE TABLE TOPS

Overview General Purpose Table Tops are available in the same sizes and shapes as most of our Performance and Hospitality Tables and are meant for general use. The edge selection includes edgeband, t-edge, urethane edge and wood edge, with profiles that are applied around the entire top. For training table application, please see Training Table Tops.

Stiffeners Stiffeners are recommended to minimize sagging on Tops that have unsupported spans of 45" to 60", once installed. The maximum unsupported span should not exceed 60". Optimal stiffener placement is in the center, directly between the base plates (or other supports), however, it can be placed up to 6” off the center. If the stiffener must be placed further off center, it is recommended to install two stiffeners, placed parallel. If the Worksurface is 36" or wider, two parallel stiffeners are recommended. Stiffeners are accessories to be ordered on a separate line item, shipped loose and field installed. Screws are included.
